Before the turbines

Original reduction lino cut, edition of 5

Print size 235 x 165mm

This plough sat for many months blocking the access to a field I often walked past in Eye. Then three wind turbines were erected on the horizon. Recently, causing great controversy in the town, planning permission has been granted for over 200 houses, so perhaps a more fitting title would now be, ‘Before the Housing Estate’.

Reduction technique using oil-based ink in four layers. Printed with a small relief press on Somerset paper.
