I’ve wanted to capture this scene in a print since spending a long weekend with my family in Mundesley on the Norfolk coast for a significant birthday. Even though it was November the weather was very kind to us and we enjoyed spending time on the beach. That weekend takes on even more significance given the restrictions imposed upon us during the coronavirus pandemic. I think we are all longing for the opportunity to spend time with family again.
The only edition currently available is 11/15, although two other editions are hanging in a gallery.
Original reduction linocut, variable edition of 15. Print size 270 x 180mm. Hand printed on Somerset Satin 250g paper using a small relief press. Due to the nature of the printmaking process minor variations can occur between prints, making each one a truly unique piece of artwork.
