Description

This print was inspired by a magnificent tree I saw silhouetted against the setting sun one winter afternoon when I visited Redgrave and Lopham Fens to see the murmuration of starlings. It had been a cold sunny day and the light was perfect, as were the starlings. This print is from a variable edition of 25, with some slightly different background skies. Please look closely at the associated photographs.

This is an original multi-block linocut size 305 x 203mm, handprinted using a small press on Somerset Satin 250 gsm paper. Due to the nature of the printmaking process minor variations can occur between prints, making each one a truly unique piece of artwork. Each print is numbered, titled and signed at the bottom. The artwork will be  shipped flat protected by strong cardboard packaging and sent by tracked mail.
