One sunny afternoon in Southwold, the sun was low in the sky and my eye was drawn to the shadows cast by this lone post on the beach. Why was it there, not just as a perch for resting seagulls I’m sure.
There are two slight different variations of this print and they sold very quickly. I have held back one print to enter for selection in an exhibition. If it is not selected then I will make it available to buy.
Original reduction linocut, variable edition of 14. Print size 270 x 180mm. Hand printed on Somerset Satin 250g paper using a small relief press. Due to the nature of the printmaking process minor variations can occur between prints, making each one a truly unique piece of artwork.
