Description

An artist proof from a series titled ‘Postcards from Norfolk’. It is from a small edition of eight, sized 6 x 4″ ( 15 x 10cm). Each print is numbered, titled and signed at the bottom. The artwork will will shipped flat.

The reduction method (my favourite technique) uses a single piece of lino to produce a multi-coloured print.  As the block is essentially destroyed during the process, a reduction print can never be reprinted. For example, with this print all that remains of the lino is the lamppost. Hand printed using a small relief press. Due to the nature of the printmaking process minor variations can occur between prints, making each one a truly unique piece of artwork.
