This summer (2026) the wild flower meadow at the front of our house was a sea of ox-eye daises. So many people commented on them that I decided to try to capture their beauty in a reduction print. This coincided with South Breckland Artists art trail so I printed a different coloured layer over the course of the four days of my open studio. As a group we also decided to provide visitors with the chance to have a go at a daisy themed art activity, so I carved some small daisies for visitors to print. I’ll include one of these little prints with each order I receive for ox-eye daisies.

There are two versions of this print, in version one the final layer is blue and version two it’s green. Although as it’s the final layer of a reduction print, it appears to be the background colour. Print size 175 x 2225mm from a variable edition of 15. Hand printed on Somerset Satin 250g paper using a Hawthorn etching press.

Due to the nature of the printmaking process minor variations can occur between prints, making each one a truly unique piece of artwork. Each print is numbered, titled and signed at the bottom. The artwork will be  shipped flat (unframed) protected by strong cardboard packaging and sent by tracked mail.
