This print was inspired by the excitement of that first glimpse of the wonderful Holkham beach as you approach it through the pinewoods. Holkham is the sort of place that lifts the soul and sweeps away any cobwebs. It’s a treat for dog walkers and birdwatchers alike.

This original reduction linocut is the sister print to ‘Return to Holkham’. Its from a limited edition of 8 and was created using two pieces of lino which were gradually cut away as each layer was printed and the image emerged. As the lino is essentially destroyed during the process, a reduction print can never be reprinted.

Print size 265 x 175mm. Hand printed on Somerset Satin 250g paper using a small relief press. Due to the nature of the printmaking process minor variations can occur between prints, making each one a truly unique piece of artwork.
