I love the shadows and reflections created by the wooden groynes around the British coastline. The groynes play an important role in reducing erosion and supporting the formation of beaches. I like to think that to the seabirds, such as these in Southwold, they give status to the bird that claims the most prestigious perch.

Original reduction linocut, limited edition of 9. Print size 265 x 175mm. Reduction technique using oil-based ink. Hand printed on Somerset 250g paper using a small relief press. Due to the nature of the printmaking process minor variations can occur between prints, making each one a truly unique piece of artwork.

This print is numbered, titled and signed at the bottom, mounted in a neutral colour and wrapped in cellophane to keep it clean. The mounted work will fit into a standard 12 x 16″ frame. The artwork will be packaged in a sturdy cardboard envelope and will be shipped by tracked mail.
