I love to see trees silhouetted against a moonlit sky. This print is a reinvention of the tree featured in my previous print, ‘Midwinter’. It was inspired by a striking specimen that I spotted on Redgrave and Lopham Fens one evening after waiting to watch the starling murmurations.

Unusually for me its a multi-block print, size 205 x 205mm, created from three lino plates. Its hand printed in Cranfield Safewash ink using a small relief press on Somerset Satin 250 gsm paper and is a limited edition of 12. Due to the nature of the printmaking process minor variations can occur between prints, making each one a truly unique piece of artwork. Each print is numbered, titled and signed at the bottom. The artwork will be  shipped flat (unframed) protected by strong cardboard packaging and sent by tracked mail.
